Released September 2026, Usurp the Shadow Throne is a standalone booster set and the 20th in Flesh and Blood — the penultimate chapter of the War of the Monarch. Viserai returns from i'Arathael remade by Shadow, joined by the Necromancer Malice and her zombie horde and by Levia, still wrestling the demon within. With the gate to i'Arathael open, you can play cards straight from your banished zone and seize your opponent's Runechants by force.
